Return with caution
The NSW SES advises you may now RETURN WITH CAUTION to the following area(s):
- Byron Coast
- Coffs Coast
- Macquarie Coast
What you need to do:
- Check your house or property for damage. If your property has been affected - stay clear. It may have been structurally weakened, even if there is no obvious damage.
- Stay out of the water and away from areas exposed to damaging surf.
- Do not stand near or at the bottom of eroding cliffs and dunes.
- Stay clear of fallen trees, power lines and any damaged buildings.
- If safe to do so, check on neighbours who may require assistance.
