What is happening?
- A fire is burning in a large factory at Brookvale.
- The fire is contained and expected to burn overnight.
- A smoke plume is likely to continue impacting the surrounding area overnight.
What you need to do
- People in the vicinity should avoid smoke by leaving the area, or stay inside with doors, windows and vents closed.
- People not in the vicinity should avoid the area.
- Follow the instructions of emergency services personnel.
